Wyperfeld NP

The dry lake bed of Lake Albacutya

With the warm weather continuing into Easter, our convoy of 8 vehicles headed off to the Victorian Desert.

Wyperfeld NP is home to many kangaroos roaming across the dry Lake Albacutya. This was a site to see in Victoria's current drought conditions.

With plenty of dry loose sand about, our convoy took on the sandy dunes. Great fun has experienced both in Wyperfeld & the Big Desert State Forest.

Milmed Rock is always a favourite to climb, being only 2 metres high! Ross Springs also added excitement to our trip as the soft dry dunes gave us some fantastic sand driving.

Our trip would not be complete without experiencing the drive down the sandy border fence which divides the States of Victoria & South Australia.
